Starting point for low grip natural outdoor dirt track conditions (Hills Off Road RC) for the new G3 ESC.

We are currently running an 8.5 turn in the 2 wheel and a 6.5 turn in the 4 wheel drive.
Something not noted on the sheet but worth giving a go is the new freewheeling function they have developed, which essentially works like regenerative braking in an electric car so that once you start to lift off throttle the car slows down faster, which is dictated by the RPM decrease rate. I suggest starting with a lower value of 1-3 to begin with and go from there, the higher the value the faster it will slow down as you release the throttle. Personally I have been liking this function.
The new software and values for each setting has a much smoother feeling especially in the lower end values, so as a result we are running some higher throttle rates which should be kept in mind when making the transition from the G2S to the G3 to achieve similar feeling.
