New suspension mounts 0.5mm lower than old car, inserts snug fit

New bulkheads 1mm lower than old car

Extra stiffening added, hole closed in buttom of bulkhead

22mm bulkhead spacing retained

6mm screws supplied a little long

5mm screws sit flush with motor mount and will not hinder meshing motor

2 spur gears supplied with stock (37T) kit

Layshaft carried over from previous car

Off set layshaft mount for optional motor positions

37t spool fitted with optional steel outdrives

New 37T diff

Bearing eccentrics made of improved harder material than previous car

2x0.2mm shims to remove end float on diff

Bulkhead caps carry over so ballstud will be 1mm lower than old car

New single piece servo mount and steering rack. Note orientation of turnbuckle, the wrong way round it will foul the top deck

Shims and washers added below rack to prevent it jumping off bearings in impact

Always chamfer the top deck holes slightly to allow for some manufacturing tollerence where screw head meets thread

Personal preference built my car with graphite plastics

Optional DCJs and 4mm hexes fitted

Extra strength put 4mm grub screw in unused hole in rear upright

Sits below top of upright and adds strength

Use threading tool to thread front hubs square

Take sharp edges off bottom of droop screws to prevent them digging into chassis

Getting there

2mm shim included in kit as cap is 1mm lower than old car

I recommend fitting the roll bar to the ballstud first as it is very tight to fit. I screwed ballstud into old bulkhead so I could get hold of it properly

Shims for stiffening motor mount included in the kit

Shocks carry over from old car, plastics and tollerances have been improoved. 0.2mm shim added in body before O ring to tighten fit

Ball cup material and fit improved over old car

Ready for radio gear

Finished
