Could you elaborate a little on your side spring setting. Are they touching the chassis when the car is sitting on your table?
Yes they have small amount of preload. If you back screws all the way out then go 2 1/2 turns down they just touch w/tiniest bit of load and tweak on tweak stand from there. I always tweak from rear of car so the motor pod is facing you on board.
