Since bodyshell preparation is a critical factor in modern RC car performance, I've put together a step-by-step guide on how to perfectly mount a shell on the new ARC A11.

In this tutorial, I am using the ZooRacing Wolverine, which is currently the go-to choice for most Stock racing classes.

Make sure that you use the tires you want to race with and that your ride height is set before mounting your bodyshell.

In this tutorial I am using the Inov8 body mounting system because I just like its simplicity of body adjustment. The measurement shown in the picture should be between 90-94mm. The measurement used can be seen in every setup sheet.

If you are using the regular horizontal body mount I would drill the holes at around 45mm measured from the edge and adjust the body height directly by the mounting point of your body stands.

If you are using vertical stands I would suggest to drill the front holes first and then rear ones.

Make sure that you measure from the most bottom window edge. Usually the team is using 61-64mm where 61mm the bodyshell is mounted about 5mm to the front.

As you can see I scratch the body a little with my calipers and adjust it so that its centered on my car.

This measurement depends on how much forward you want to mount the body. Mostly it should be around 28-30mm. Make sure that this height is right before you cut the edge of your body.

I use 8mm edge clearance when racing on carpet and about 6.5-7mm when racing on asphalt.

I try to use as little edge as possible so that the aero is the most effective. This is also depending on what the rules of your race say.

When cutting the wheel arches you can either use a circle cutter or designated tools like the Team Titan Wheel Arch Maker #60312.
