Axon TC10.4 Avalon Vortex mounting information

Before getting started, please note that all measurements shown on the body setup sheet were taken with the car sitting on 10mm droop blocks.

Rear Body Posts: For this bodyshell, I flipped the aluminium rear body post mounts the other way to obtain a higher position and added an additional 2mm of shims underneath them.

Wing Choice: I initially started with the OG Twister wing. However, since the track I’m racing on this week is smaller and more technical, I felt it introduced a slight amount of off power understeer and gave the car a somewhat “hanging” feeling through the middle of the corner.

Switching to the Wolverine wing freed up the rear slightly, giving the car more rotation, which is currently better suited to this track layout.
That said, at my home track, which is larger and features more sweeping corners, I believe the OG Twister wing may still have the advantage. I have not yet tested any other wing options besides these two.

Bodyshell front Lip ground clearance (With wheels on): 8mm
Bodyshell sides ground clearance (with wheels on): 10mm
