Important here - these setups are for the new ETS Matrix tires which are obviously different from any other tire we used ever so far.

So please keep in mind, that these setups maybe don't work with any other tires/compounds! (May they do, maybe not, I didn't test it so far, just saying😛)

In modified the differences in the setup between "old" and "new" Matrix tires is very minor. The different load on the tires was here basically the main thing. In ProStock the differences were a lot bigger for me, as we fighted with very bad midcorner oversteer the first two days. It was literally undrivable for some runs, no joke! Also the very chilly temperatures the first 2 days didn't help. When it was warmer the issues were way less.

By trying few different ways and ideas with the team (each car of our team was set different every run) we were able to source a lot of data in a short time, which allowed us to put together all the good working stuff and get the cars right once qualifying started!

In the end all our cars worked well in all classes which shows the great team effort ❤️

Also I liked to see that "new tires" were not a big (if any at all!) advantage in ProStock.

For Modified my experience to judge the tire drop is still to little why I don't want to do it. See my picture of the tires and the additional comments below.

The tires are acting and looking more like a 1:1 racecar slick tire. They are very sticky and collect even small stones and pickup during/after the run. It helps to put them after the run in tire warmers and heat them up before cleaning 🙂

The pace drop of the tires seems a lot less than previous tires which I like! In ProStock I actually couldn't note an advantage by running new tires over used ones (and this is big news on Asphalt!).

Looking forward to see how they will handle on other tracks and conditions. So far its very promissing with the corrected/adjusted car setups.
