Very close to the setup previously used at TOS, a few things to note:

  • C204-1 rear arms: Combined with 0.5mm wheel spacers, helped sharpen the car through the left part of the track in direction changes (Don't forget to adjust spring rate accordingly => -1mm spring gap).
  • Long upper links (on bulkheads): After 1+ year of testing back and forth I am convinced this configuration is the better base for all D compound tires. Some minor changes were made during the race due to slightly higher grip than expected. Notably raised inner upper arms position front and rear by 0.5mm to help free up the car, and 0.5mm less front bump steer shims to help tame the car's initial steering response. Some minor changes on the electronics side too, again due to the faster track conditions:
  • 6390 battery: Runtime was fairly critical for many and I wanted to make sure I had some margin to make sure I could push hard the whole time.
  • Less endbell timing: to compensate for the added battery power, less endbell timing is required to maintain as close as possible throttle response while making the whole package more efficient.
