What a long, almost 2 weeks of racing back to back events. But I must admit it was a great time in New York and then straight out to California for the ROAR 2025 Onroad Nationals at CenCal Speedway Fresno. This Paved Nationals was by far the most difficult conditions I think we've had to deal with…from grip changing drastically with changes in temperature to quite inconsistent tires. I'm never one to complain about tires but with this handout tire and whatever batches were being distributed, on track performance was almost a guess each time you hit the track and often enough that guess was wrong.
I never did quite get a grip on the tires with my SuperStock TC but did qualify 2nd on the grid. After some tricky conditions and some wrong guesses about tires, I finished 7th overall. It was great to see Lex and Billy on the podium.
My Stock TC went much better and I was able to TQ and finish 1st with Clayton keeping me on my toes all weekend. It was also great to have two of my teammates, Clayton and Billy, on the podium for an Awesomatix lockout on top 3!
Also, got to congratulate Stuart Mason on his amazing drive to take the TQ and win in Mod TC. It was incredible to watch and he definitely deserved that title.
ROAR did a great job running the race and making sure there was plenty of practice and time between all the races on main day, always tricky with triple A mains. Eric Anderson did an amazing job as race director.
As always, thank you to my sponsors for making it all possible.
