My bodyshell choice is the PROTOform EUROPA. In the next pictures i try to show/explain how to mount the shell correctly.

First step is to cut the body at the given lower edges.

Next up i check the position of the shell on the car. If you cut the front edges of the foam bumber a tiny bit, then the EUROPA shell fit just perfect and you don't even need some foam inside the shell. In this position to shell is mounted neutral which is always a good and safe position for every bodyshell.

I recommend to make the front holes first. To be able to get the correct position, i removed the rear horizontal bodyposts. Now the body has only contact on the front post. Its important to get the rear end of the shell to the proper height at this stage, otherwise your holes will be not correct because of an angel distortion.

Most easy way to get the shell on the needed height in rear is to use some pcs of carton. You can use whatever you have arround. This is an example how i do it.

Now you can mark the front holes and drill them.

After you drilled the front holes the bodyshell will be "lower" which means you also need to adjust your underlay in the rear (in my case the carton). Make sure to get it on the same height as the front (or a big higher. Just not lower!) to be able to mark the holes for the rear posts correctly. Make sure to do this on a flat board and use the same amount of underlay left and right. Also the car should be set to proper ride height for this step.

From the backside your are able to see the hole where you screw the bodypost. Mark the "hole" left and right as this is where you need to drill the holes for the rear bodyposts. Make sure again the shell had same height on both sides before you drill the holes.

After you drilled the holes the mounting process is complete. If you followed all steps carefully then your shell is now mounted correct.

Here again a side view after all the holes for mounting were drilled. You can see the shell is slightly higher in the rear and overall in a good level.

Last step of "mounting" is cutting the wheel arches. I personally like to do this via circle cutter.

Ready for the track !

Last tip: Don't place the inside bodyclips in rear directly onto the bodyshell. You should leave a 2-3 holes gap. This allow the bodyshell to move a bit in "race action" :)
