- X-Factory X6² - Bruno Heremans - Vlijmen Gras - BNK Rd7 - 25.09.2011 -

Lengths:
For: compressed 57mm, 75mm extended.
Rear: 68mm compressed, extended 91mm.
All lengths are measured without limiters, and the high 'caps'. These kits, and W5303V W5304V with 2 lengths of top caps, high and low. It has to do with the application to the RB5 and ZX5 I think. Or with the 38 million arm lengths that Kyosho has released the latest year.

The standard pistons I have far too little pack. At the race at Vlijmen grass track in front I used ordinary, straight 2-hole pistons: 2x1.5mm. And 1x1.6mm + 1x1.7mm in the back. 30wt for the clay track at Liege, 25wt for the bumpy grass track. These pistons are made by the Godfather of R / C, but here oOple is a man with the nickname "Nick" who undoubtedly can provide something similar. He posts some of the Losi and Kyosho section on custom pistons.

TLR big bore springs fit perfectly and have the same color and hardness as a good old small bore Losi springs. The Kyosho BB feathers are hard to find, and have no good "range. Hatch was silver / yellow, GASbaan was blue / pink. I also have green and orange front, and red behind.

I think the kits come with orange X-rings, but the old 1/8 x 1/16 O-rings which are still in everyone's boxes, also fit.

Best shocks ever, both in design and in terms of smoothness, and provided the right pistons, also in terms of shock absorption. Careful jumping, proper positioning of the car on the jump and on the landing are not needed.

X-Factory’s Bruno “Elvo” Heremans wins BeNelux championship

The combined Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg Championship Series concluded Sept 25 with a surprise win by Bruno Heremans and his X–6 Squared. Coming into the last race at Vlijmen, Netherlands, X Factory’s Stefan Mesker held a one point lead over Elvo after six races in the seven race series, with best five to count. Heremans and X-Teamer Stefan Mesker were the only two drivers in with a chance for the title, Elvo just one point behind Stefan.

The grass track deteriorated slowly through the day, becoming rougher, and many drivers found themselves on their lids unexpectedly. Heremans drove his X–6 Squared carefully but quickly from fourth on the grid to win the first two A mains and with it the overall Championship. “I changed front tires and shock oil between qualifying and the mains, and my X–6 Squared was very stable on this rough surface,” said Heremans after the race.

Stefan Mesker, 2009 Netherlands Champ and 2010 BeNeLux Champ, came second in the BeNeLux this year, therefore won the Netherlands Championship again. That trophy is much larger than the BeNeLux trophy in the photos.
