The awesome X - 60 body, like
all truck bodies, takes quite a bit of abuse because it encloses the
shocktowers. However, with the X - 60's body mounts being so far apart,
the body can come under extra stress in a wreck. The rear body holes on
Paul Sinclair's truck started to crack, so like many drivers do for
their 1/8th scale bodies Paul slotted them out to allow the body some
movement. This has really helped reduce the wear and tear on the rear of
the body - the body pictured here (April '09) is the same one he first
received back in December at the JConcepts Clash. To help keep the body
on, he created a small shim out of extra lexan: see the pictures below
for a much easier understanding. |
