Ok so recently I have been speaking with my manager Craig Collinson and we have had a aim to make the Team C TM4 a much faster car than what it is already. We have realised that there is a dominant shaft drive 4wd buggy and we want to have our car on pace with that. So here im going to list some of the mods that we have done to the car to make it better. But we are not stopping.

First thing we have done is taking the front caster block and taking 2mm of material from the mounting part of it to move it forward slightly this then straightens out the front drive shaft making the front end drive a little smoother on high grip making the car easier to drive. But also not load up to much weight on the front end (mainly under breaking) again making the car easier to push.

Next we have taken the battery mount and drilled 2 new holes. These new holes are 6mm forward. (1mm back from motor mount) This then moves the weight of the battery more to the centre of the chassis making it more stable in the air and better balance for the car again for high grip tracks. As well as this some of us have been running the ESC in front of the motor but as close to the motor as possible to get the weight as central as possible.

We have also been making the car have a little more flex. Taking out the 2 centre screws from the side guards to help, the battery brace that is bolted to the chassis some have chosen to cut it up so that it is only there to stop the battery others have used the TM2 short battery posts which work great as well. And we are using the plastic battery strap with the holes made slightly bigger which aids in flex characteristics as well.

Lastly we have taken the RR arm hanger and flipped it, which does take a little bit of dremeling but its not to much. As well as flipping it we have raise the gear box by 1mm but will be trying it with it raised even more, and mounting the rear shocks 3mm lower than std. All of this has been done to slightly lower the rear roll centre as well as increasing the anti squat slightly. All resulting in keeping the car flatter through the turn and gain corner speed which will result in faster lap times.

The video i posted earlier of my car all of these mods have been done minus the ESC position due to me making a mistake of the wires be slightly to short to move it there, But will get it moved soon to try. I will post pictures on here as well to try and explain as much as possible of what we have done. And possibly some of the other team drivers will comment on anything else that i have missed if i have. And if there is anything that anyone else thinks will help then let us know.

Thanks
Ieuan
