PDF File

This past weekend (October 26-28th) was the First ROAR Nationals in Canada since 2001! With over 10 years albescence the site for the event was held in Ottawa, Canada's capital at Sutton Aviation Speedway. This track is truly unique. The clay track is under a dome, and pitting is down in a airplane hanger. Located on the grounds of the Canadian Aerospace museum. The weekend started out warm and sunny, but with hurricane Sandy making her was closer the temperature and weather changed to cold and rainy. With the dome over the track conditions remained un-effected and racing continued on!

The 2WD and 4WD modified buggy classes were hotly contested! Canada's up and coming, mixed with veteran racers to make qualifying close and very exciting! After 4 rounds of qualifying Tamiya's John Catricala took the TQ honours in the 2wd mod buggy! The 4wd modified buggy had many of the same names fighting it out for top honours, but XRAY's 1/8th scale Ace Jerome Treignier took the pole! The mains were setting up to be legendary.
