This past weekend Mike’s Hobby Shop in Dallas hosted the Spring Nationals. The track started out with good traction, so I knew it was gonna groove up like the previous race we had here. I started out on M3 IONs on the rear and M3 Scrubs on my 2wd buggy. In 4wd buggy, I started out on the M3 IONs front and rear. In 2wd 17.5 buggy I battled with AE Factory Team drivers Spencer Rivkin, Daimon Borkowicz and TLR’s Eric Larson in every main. I took A1 over Daimon, A2 I switched to MC IONs but I made too many mistakes early on, I fought back to finish second to Spencer. A3 was anybody’s race. Still on MC IONs, I got around Spencer early on but traction rolled a half a lap later then bobbled to let him get a big lead, the he made a series of bobbles as I was reeling him in, I got around Spencer and drove a mistake free last couple laps to take the win.
