While my set-up probably doesn't differ a whole lot from others on this forum, there are three very essential tuning tips I've found with this truck.

1) As with most racers, tires should be your first consideration. After trying all sorts of options, on carpet I've found the popular Schumachers to perform the best. And contrary to what some might think (or would be popular opinion) I've found that the MiniSpikes actually offer better traction than MiniPins on tight tracks, while on larger higher speed layouts the MiniPins are better suited.

2) Sway bars while an option, aftermarket TLR, part - they really are all but a necessity for these trucks unless you're running on a very low traction surface. Buy them and use them.

3) You might notice my use of the MIP ByPass1 shock pistons, and these are in my opinion one of the best things I've added to my truck. It sure enables the truck to soak up any small jumps and undulations like they're not even there, and on big jumps the truck just lands (no bounces) very smoothly and takes off.
