Picked up a half second from Sunday so it was a big leap in the right direction.

  • Lowered my front pivot from 2mm kick shim to 3.5mm. The car really rolled the middle to exit of the corner much better with out stalling out. 2.5mm was good as well so it’s an option if you like a little less steering.
  • In the past I’ve always ran SZL side guards. It’s what I felt comfortable with, however, running the soft side guards I feel the car is much more consistent lap to lap and overall more grip.
  • I also transitioned back to thin pistons and 3mm shocks with the traditional 2x1.6 / 2x1.7 pistons. 35/30 for the oils. The car was fluid, jumped and landed well, and overall felt like it cornered faster.
  • Something I’ve really liked is moving the battery forward. The car does not have the pendulum effect of the battery being back. In doing so running a little lighter rear shock oil has really helped regain some of that rear grip.
  • Lastly lowering my rear roll center block is one of those things I kind of forgot about. Its a big attribute to camber gain and making the rear roll over on itself. Lowering it 2mm my car actually gained some forward grip well being a lot smoother in transitions.
