Shaun Thompson: Centre diff fluid increased to 500k, everything else on the sheet is the same

Mark Headling: Couple of questions:
What weight is the spine weight?
Any pics of the hubs where you have re drilled them?

Shaun Thompson: 46g weight I'll do some pics of the front hubs for you.

Shaun Thompson: Also look at front of car, inspired by Jared's setup I removed the front top deck. I didn't have access to a carbon brace for the steering posts so screwed ball studs in and braced them with a pair of ballcups connected by a long set screw

Do the 1.7 front pistons reduce grip roll ovet 1.6s

Shaun Thompson: I felt the car tended to pack up on the front when landing jumps so would bite and roll so I tried 1.7 and this felt better

Shaun Thompson: Mark Headling, here's some pictures as promised. start with standard knuckle
Measure 5mm in from ball stud hole

Shaun Thompson: Mark and drill
Tap hole with ball stud

Shaun Thompson: See new hole viewed from above
Use new hole with 4mm of washers to correct bump steer

Shaun Thompson: Use new hole with 4mm of washers to correct bump steer

Shaun Thompson: I'm using Xray 12mm hex 2wd front wheels to maximise track width, if you use standard 4wd wheels you must use offset ball cups like those from the AE B64

Mark Headling: Thanks Shaun, so how does this mod change the feel of the car?

Shaun Thompson: It basically increases the amount of lock on the outside wheel and to me when driving it helps the car rotate through hairpins much faster. Before doing this i felt i was waiting for the car to rotate mid corner but with the mod it feels more nimble and more like it rotates from the centre of the car

Shaun Thompson: It's a bit hard to show on a photo but i think you can see what I'm talking about on this one
