The tires on carpet are very
civilized & actually good with such soft inserts.
I haven't needed any compound as of yet.
The battery 1" back from full
forward, right behind the servo (battery bar upside down).
Ride height as low as possible with out compromising jumping ability.
(arms just below level)
Front:
Stock #65 spring, piston &oil.
Shock lower mount all the way in. (Stock oil
listed as 500cst = 40w +/-)
Rear:
Stock #65 springpiston, & oil.
Went to lower outer mounting. (Stock oil listed as 350cst = 30w +/-)
Added one shim under the forward rear arm mount for a little more
anti-squat. (shims not included in RTR, but come with the
replacement gear box/t-plate parts tree)
