I've gotten a lot of requests about how I got the RZ-6 so light (1505g). So I will share the parts I used here:

Replace all screws, ball studs, and tie rods with Titanium.

Replace the rear gear diff with ball diff:
- Aluminum Outdrives (TFW001)
- Gear (LA200)
- Spring (UM124)
- Diff Screw (LA208)
- Shims (96647)
- Rings (TF013)

I used MIP puck bones instead of the Kyosho blades.

I was running a narrow pivot so I had to cut down the out drives a little (see picture)

Replace the drive cup with plastic cups from ZX-5 (LA211B)

Replace the input shaft with aluminum shaft from ZX-5 (LA202, VZW010-1)

Use this bevel gear (LA372)

Replace both towers with (Tebo Front Tower, and LAW59)

Carbon Arms, Hubs, and Knuckles (UMW711B, UMW710, UMW712 UMW713)

Schelle Ceramic Bearings

All of the above got the car down to around 1530g

I went a step further and Kurt from Schelle fabricated a custom aluminum lockout which cut another 25+ grams. If there is enough interest this part will be released.

I used stock plastic wing mounts instead of the exotek, and that got me to the final 1505g mark.
