I turned up to Surrey and Hants model car club early on Sunday morning and met up with Tony Evdoka (UK Team Manager and provider of shelter for the day).
This was to be the first big meeting for my RB6 after a club meeting at Silverstone earlier in the week. I went out for first practice With the setup still from Silverstone and straight away it felt on the pace, and very easy to be consistent. For the second practice I went from Gold rear springs to Red and this felt better and even more responsive. That was the setup for the first round of qualifying set!
In the first round I tq'd and in the second tq'd again with the only 14 lapper. I had some poor luck in rounds 3 and 4 but my first 2 rounds were enough to maintain the top spot for the finals.

I left the car the same for the finals, except for new rubber on the rear, and I managed to win the first 2 legs after some great racing with Terry Streeter and Glenn Westwood, securing the win.

I'm very happy with the RB6, and considering it has only been out a very short while, it has been great straight out of the box!
