I just wanted to post here really quick Jared Tebo's set-up for the RB5 that he has been using. He has set the track record at his home track and has been going really fast with it. I have also tried this at OCRC and Battle Front (in Michigan) and it works really good. This is the best my RB5 has ever felt indoors. This set-up gives our car the steering it has been needing without taking away any rear traction.

What tires is Jared running w/ that set up?

Pro-Line M3 8175 and Pro-Line M3 Hole-Shots

What are the track conditions? Smooth? Grippy? Any big jumps or table tops?

Jared's track is smooth and has good traction. His track also has allot of jumps.

Where is he placing the 1.5 oz in the front?

You can fit 2 1/4oz squares inside the front bulkhead by shaving off the edges a little bit, then the bulkhead labeled with 25/30 fit perfectly over it. Another 1/2oz directly under the steering Ackerman. Then 1/4oz on each side of the chassis in-between the servo and servo saver.

I raced with this set-up last night at Battle Front in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Jason Jakubczyk and I were the 2wd fastest in the 2wd Modified Class. I had the fastest lap in every qualifier. Just couldn't put in a clean 5-minute run. The track was very loose, but my car had allot of traction as well as steering with this set-up. I used Pro-Line M3 8175 and Pro-Line M3 Square Fuzzies. I have also been using the new Team Orion ESC.

What profile were you using on the Orion ESC again? Also, did you play with the timing on the motor?

I ran profile 3 with the motor timing all the way back to the last line when turning the endbell clockwise. I ran a Team Orion Vortex 2008 7.5 geared at 22/81.
