One thing to note: Ty's uses Kyosho low friction X-rings in his shocks. If you plan on running his set ups make sure to switch seals or else the car will feel over dampened due to added friction from the stock O-rings. If you want to use stock O-ring dropping 5wt oil will net the same "feel" as low friction X-rings.

Over the weekend I tested AE vs LOSI diff oils of the same cst rating (7k and 3k). On the bench ("wheel twisting hand dyno") and on track losi oil feels about 2k heavier than AE. Since I own more AE diff oils, I've switch my diffs to AE 10k front/5k rear to match Ty's Losi 7k front/3k rear.
