This weekend i drove the third of five races in VBC cup.The race was held in Eskilstuna, with 2wd on Saturday and 4wd on Sunday.
This was the first race with the C4.1 for me. The C4.1 is easier than the B4.1 to drive on high grip carpet tracks. I am really happy with how good the C4.1 handles. The car was super fast and easy to drive with very consistent lap times. I ended up winning three of four qualifying rounds to take TQ and that made me really confident for the finals. After winning the first two A Finals it was enough for the total win in 2wd.

In 4wd I drove the AE B44.1 and the car was fast and easy to drive, but I had problem to drive without mistakes in the first three qualifying rounds, Q1 (5) Q2 (3) Q3 (5) Q4 (1). I was really confident on the car and my driving for the finals.

The finals were a mess with a lot of cars all over the track. I ended up fourth in the first final, second in the second final and first in the third final.
That gave me second place on the grid for the finals and I ended up first in 4wd to.

I used a fiberglass top deck in front on my C4.1 and that did make the cars steering more consistent.I used a 14grams bras flywheel on my slipper and that made the car ride flatter and have more steering on power and the car was very stable under braking.

My best regards,
Niclas Månsson
