B6.1 Front Tower, 4mm Gull

Racers may want the optional 4mm thickness Schelle front tower for slightly lower weight and added steering feel. Although not as brutally strong as the 5mm version, Schelle offers the 4mm version for racers wanting to match the flex of the kit parts. B6.1 Gull Front Tower is a direct replacement for the kit tower on a B6.1 and B6.1D, however has added options for the SCH1265

B6.1D Low CG tower features:
1. 4.0 mm carbon fiber for stiffness and durability. Made in the USA.
2. Pre-Drilled and countersunk for option 3-d screw-on wing mount SCH1265.
3. Fits Kit plastic Gull tower guard, covering the wing mount screws for a dialed look.
4. For use with B6.1D and B6.1 with Gullwing front arms.

B6.1 Front Tower, 5mm Gull

The B6.1 5mm Gull tower is intended to be the most durable carbon fiber front tower on the market. We went with premium 5mm Carbon Fiber made in the USA, matched the kit locations and tower guard so this tower will be the choice of racers looking to add toughness to their B6.1 buggies. The Team Associated designers followed our lead from the B6 series and removed the outer shock mount hole to increase durability for the B6.1 series.

2. Short outer ears, fits kit plastic tower guard. Plastic tower guard covers optional wing mount locations.

B6.1 Nova Buggy Lockout Set

Get more power and accelerate harder out of the turns. Clear that jump you've be struggling to get over! The Schelle lockout might be the answer you've been looking for. The B6.1 version is a new V2 design with screw-on spur gears. It's easier to assemble, and works with both the B6.1 kit topshaft OR the short direct drive topshaft.

The Nova Buggy Lockout Set is a direct connection of the motor to the tires. Pure racers like to remove the kit slipper clutch and go with direct drive (we call it "lockout"). With lower weight and no slip, maximum power goes to the tires. The Lockout Buggy Set sheds weight down to a bare minimum 2.3 grams while keeping the tried and true Nova Spur gears (4.6 grams total including the spur gear). A 69 tooth and 72 tooth Nova Spur gear are included for all the tuning options a racer could need for tight or wide-open layouts.

Nova Lockout Features:1. 2.3 grams of CNC Aluminum plus 0.6 grams for mount screws.
2. Includes 69 and 72 spur gears. Special blend Nova Spur Gears are strong, true round, and quiet running.
3. Everything you need is included to work with the kit top shaft, nothing else to buy. Easy to assemble!
4. Direct fit to the B6.1, B6.1D only. Does not fit the older B6 and B5M models (see SCH1303).

B6.1D Low CG Rear Tower

A direct bolt-on to B6.1D kit, the Low CG Rear Tower lowers the shocks for a low CG and more predictable rear suspension. The Schelle Low CG rear tower sits 2mm lower to the ground, and also gives racers the fine adjustment with tight hole spacing. 4.0mm thick, made in the USA, this part is a direct bolt-on to the B6.1D. The images above show a side-by-side comparison with the Associated kit "tall" tower.

B6.1D Low CG tower features:
1. 4.0 mm carbon fiber for stiffness and durability. Made in the USA.
2. Tight spaced upper shock mount holes for fine-tuning.
3. Lower shocks by 2mm for more consistent cornering feel.
4. More droop and better rear grip than the taller kit tower.
5. For use with B6.1D and 31mm Shock Bodies, also fit B6.1 with option 31mm bodies

B/T/SC6.1 Nova Slipper Clutch Sets

Get the ultimate 3-plate compact slipper clutch that has better driving feel, lasts longer, and has a lower mass. Weight is reduced over 6 grams and also fits into a more compact package than the kit slipper clutch

Schelle Chief Engineer Kurt Wenger created a 3-plate design which solves all of the problems racers are having with kit 2-plate slipper clutches that degrade and lock-up. In addition, it is smaller and weighs less making it the ideal slipper clutch for stock racers. The Nova Slipper Clutch has 20% more torque capacity in a compact package that helps you put more power to the ground and lasts longer between rebuilds. The other benefit of the Nova is that Nova sets include 2 slipper pads of each type (white and red) and a tuning guide to help racers learn how to tune the clutch for different conditions from slick dirt to astro-turf.

AE V2 Pistons

Schelle have 2 new piston pairs to release for use on the Associated B6 and B64 buggies. First is the 2 hole split 1.6 and 1.7, commonly used in 2wd front to gain more steering indoors. Also for the 2wd or 4wd rear, the 3x1.5 Bevel Piston is a perfect complement to 3x1.4 front pistons in bumpier conditions. These 2 new pistons plus our other 6 go-to sizes are included in the new Schelle Tuning Set of 8 pair screw-on type V2 pistons (fits B6, B6D, B64, B64D). The set also fits screw-on V2 shock shafts which are upgrades for B5, B5M, B5M Factory Lite, T5M, and SC5M.

The pistons are Precision CNC machined, and each pair comes in its own labeled Schelle mini snap case. Package includes piston tuning guide, bevel piston instructions, and Kurt "Coach" Wenger's tips. The 8 pairs included are:

Bevel pistons have a 45 degree bevel edge on the bottom side which allows for quicker rebound damping. Lighter rebound damping (rebound= extension) means that the shock can more quickly respond after bumps in the track, keeping the tires from hopping.

The 3 x 1.5mm Flat pistons are popular for 2wd and 4wd buggies in rear. Also, we are offering a new 3+1 line of split hole pistons, with the +1 additional hole added to give more grip and forgivement in bumpy conditions compared to a standard 3-hole. The addition of the small 4th hole gives less low-speed damping resistance, resulting in more traction. It also alters the damping progression relative to a conventional piston, giving less resistance initially before ramping as the shock speed increases.

B6.1 Ti Screws

55 piece B6.1 Upper Titanium Screw Set. Schelle premium Titanium screws are made of Grade 5 Titanium Alloy (commonly known as 6Al-4V) with a bright machined finish to give your car that pure racing look. Unlike Grade 2 known to be used by other brands, the Grade 5 Titanium alloy is the most desirable, giving 40% lighter weight and corrosion resistance compared to steel. With a little TLC, these screws will look as fantastic in a year as they did the day you take them from the packge.

The Schelle B6 upper set of 55 screws strategically removes kit steel screws from up high above the chassis, which lowers the CG and improves handling. All chassis bottom screws are not included in this set.
