Here is my Reedy 2016 Setup for the B5M. Yes I was 49th qualifier but if you have ever seen or driven my cars, they are very balanced and easy to drive. I changed from my normal rear end 2x1.6 Bevel down to the 3-hole as the track/tires took a while to come in. Hope this helps for some indoor clay guys.

What does raising the bell cranks do kurt?
Smooth out steering response, less bump steer. Especially when running axles up it smooths out the car , gives more predictable steering I would say.
