- Team Associated B44 - Fitting a DEX410 Gear Differential -

After 4 weekend’s test in thetrack, the performance is Champion. No power lost. Gear noiseless. No problem.!
The diff house of the Durango can be fit in my b44 gear box. But the ball bearing is too small to fit in with the house(b44), and hard to fine the bearing here. So, I made a Alloy shim to fit the ball bearing to set in the diff house.

The small gear is from Durango also and which need to be cut and drilled a hole to fit cross pin (B44). That it’s.

The only tricky thing is to mount Durango shaft pinions on B44 center shafts. You need a lathe and some skills for sure.

Otherwise, Durango diffs drop into B44 housings without any problems, they are of same dimensions as the AE stuff.

You need:
- 2 TD210001 (gear diff)
- 2 TD310005 (pinion)
- 2 ASC1731 (AE HD one-way bearings, as the Durango is metric)
- Some diff oil

Maybe also:
- 2 TD310022 (driveshaft boots)
- 1 TD310039 (rings holding the boots)

I think he means the bearings that support the oneway front diff, not the oneway bearings themselves. The oneway diff is metric - and comes with metric bearings with alloy collars to make them upto the size of the imperial diff bearings so it fits nicely inside the housings.
