Yokomo sent Nicholas Lee to the event driving his “mostly stock” BD8. For power he uses a HobbyWing XR10 Pro speed control with boost and turbo added. His motor is the HobbyWing V10 G2 4.5T with stock rotor. Up front he uses a spool and the rear sees a gear diff with 10k oil. He explained that he usually starts with 10k, but if the grip gets higher he will switch to something heavier. Recently, like many of his competition and teammates, he opts to run ARS rear suspension. For shocks, everything is “pretty standard.” He also uses the stock 2.25mm chassis.
