This weekend was the German nationals which was held in Braunschweig.

The race days started Thursday and we try to find a good setup for the mixed technical track. My racing times getting better and better but at the end it was raining and the practice was over.

On Friday the weather was worse than day before and I was able to drive just 3 practice runs on a half wet track.

Saturday:

Q1: The track was wet and all drivers struggle very much with the conditions. Daniel Wohlgemuth find the best setup with his XRAY T4 and finished 1st in front of me and Florian Botzenhart 3rd.

Q2: Now the track was dry but the traction was not just more than "ok". I was able to make my first TQ run in front of Daniel and Kevin Sparbier.

Q3: The track was now very fast and I managed a TQ run again in front of Daniel Wohlgemuth and Tony Streit.

Q4: The track conditions was now the best of the day but I get some traction roll on the curb and let Daniel pass. His TQ run was 0,1 sek faster after 7 minutes than mine so he was well earned overnight TQ.

Q5: All or nothing... I used my 2nd set of tires and want to secure the TQ. But badly my car was hitted before the race start and this generates that my car spin a lot on full throttle right corners and I have to stop my run.

F1: I was pushing a lot directly at the start and I was able to overtake Daniel after 3 corners. Now the race get a bit easier for me because of much traffic behind me. I was winning with a little gap in front of Toni and Florian.

F2: Again I was pushing a lot and set Daniel under Pressure. This allows me to overtake Daniel and lead the race away and won my first 13.5 blinky nationals!2nd in this run was again Tony Streit and Daniel Wohlgemuth 3rd.

F3: I didn’t start again for not interrupting the battle for the 2nd and 3rd place wich Daniel won at the end.

1. Jan Ratheisky - XRAY T4
2. Daniel Wohlgemuth - XRAY T4

6. Luca Tommaso Romondia
