These are good setups for medium grip “EU” carpet (both Lindau and ETS) conditions. Key changes were:
I started with the BA010 bodyshell. I soon found that this body was too aggressive for this track. The LensBodies Ponente felt more balanced to drive, and carried more corner speed. I will post a mounting guide for this body shortly.
Going to softer side springs greatly improved side bite and drivability of the car for this track layout.
Hotrace Tyres Factory Hagberg Edition foam over Red Dot turned more, and had more corner speed. Red Dots were more locked in (too locked in actually) for this carpet.
On Saturday, as traction increased, I raised the center shock, to create more leverage to the chassis, I also added more angle to the center shock to increase on-power steering.
I also went up in front kingpin lube, to take some initial response away.
On Sunday, my car had picked up a bit of a push due to the changing track conditions. Going from fully connected side braces, to disconnecting the side brace from the rear brace, gave me the mid corner steering for A1 & 2, that I was missing in the practice final.
