- What was the reason for moving the wishbones back half a mm all round and also the 1.5deg front toe out? And also what was the effect?
Moving the wishbones back 0.5 makes the car more stable at high speed as the weight balance is more forward. It also moves the balance of the handling to have slightly more turn in but less mid-corner steering. I like to use 1.5 front toe out on carpet to make the car smoother overall, especially on the mid-longer corners. The compromise is less steering in hairpins!
