The final Reedy Touring Car Race of Champions at Tamiya America Raceway has come to a close. It was always a dream of mine to race here has a young kid, and I've been fortunate enough to visit the last few years for the Reedy Race to celebrate the life of Mike Reedy.

Highlight of my weekend was taking TQ of the 4th round of qualifying and securing the P2 spot on the starting grid. However... luck was not on my side for the mains, and I fell to the back of the grid in both A1 and A2 in the early stages of the race due to racing incidents to take 7th place overall. This isn't how I envisioned my main events going, but that is racing. Onward and upward!

While my final result does not reflect the pace and hard work I put into my program for this event, I'm still happy I was able to visit all of my friends from near and far to enjoy this track one last time.

I'd like to thank all of my friends, family and supporters for all of the help I received this last week. A special thanks goes out to Daniel Strasser, Frank N' Debbie Robertson, Will Wong, Speed Zombi and Toshihiko Hara for the great times and support.

I'm happy to say I work with some of the best companies in the industry. They support me without question and give me the best equipment one could ask for so I can continue to perform on track.

This goes without saying, but year after year the crew at Team Associated, Reedy and Scotty Ernst Productions put on an awesome race for all of us to enjoy. I'm really looking forward to what unfolds for 2019. See everyone next year!
