Sunday the 1st October it was time for the first indoor race this season. The opening race was held in Aalborg rc center, at there permanent track. Normally all DRCMU races is placed in sports arenas on not permanent tracks, but not this one.

Saturday was a very long practice day, with a lot of setup work, to get my Xray T4 fast enough. In the beginning I was not satisfied, as the rear end of my car was planted and it was also missing reaction. On new tires, this problem was solved and the car was again reacting to setup charges. By the end of the day, the track was getting a kind of strange and the problem was slowly getting back with to much grip in the rear end and missing steering/reaction.

Saturday morning we had 2 controlled practice rounds, 3 qual rounds and 3 finals.

I knew from the practice Saturday, that new tires was working really well, but not this time. My car was understeering, making it very hard to be fast enough. Normally we only make small changes to my car on race day, but not this time. We was trying a lot of dramatically changes to get rid of this problem and my car was slowly better, but every time I got a planted rear end with about 1-2 minuets left. We was talking a lot with the other guys about this and they had the same feeling as I. No matter what chassis changes we made, the car felt the same.

After the qual rounds it was clear that it was very difficult to do much. My car had pace form the start and one time I had the second fastest lap time, but with more and more rear grip it was impossible. Started the finals in 5th spot and got 2x 5th places and a 3rd place, so ended 4th overall on a very difficult weekend.
