I arrived at the track on thursday directly from the airport. We tested all day and grip level was pretty low. Track was very narrow and small size so very different from european tracks.

All used the Sweep 30 tires and it was clear new tires was a bit faster, the handling on new tires was okay but old tires was very slippery on the low grip conditions.

On my Project 4X car I used the flex 2mm chassis for more grip and changed the diff settings from 10k to 7k. This improved the 5min pace a bit. On Friday was again controlled practice and I went on to change the the shock setup. I started with 3000front-1500rear and roll dampers 1000front-1000rear. I changed to more similar front and rear shock to get stability in the rear. so ended up with 2500front and 2000rear. I also changed to less rear toe in change in the rear, from 3mm to 2.5. this helped with grip but lost some steering. Also changed to more total toe-in 2.0 to 3.0.

In qualifying of 4rounds I used new tires in round 2 and 4 to save 2sets of new tires to the final. Both Naoki and Ronald used 3sets and Ec Kim used only 1set. Thats why qualifying order ended up as Naoki-Ronald-Yamamoto-Wilck-Kim. So in the final I passed Yamamoto for 3rd in first corners to stay 3rd all race, in the end Naoki and Ronald touched together and I was just behind them on last lap but could pass as I had a lapped car in-between that didn’t move over. In second final I used old tires and didn’t have a chance to follow. In 3rd final Me and Kim had new tires and I tried to pass Yamamoto on first corners but when I passed him my body got stuck so I was last after the start and could challenge for 3rd overall.
