From Juli 19th – 21st, the Hudy Racing Arena hosted the ETS Finale 2013. The overall championship was still up for grabs and this amazing facility (not comparable to anything I have ever seen before!) was the perfect stage.

In fact the whole event was just about perfect.

I decided not to arrive any time before Thursday as I didn’t want to spend a whole week in slowakia. The car was good right away. Just like it always is.

I have been playing around with setup changes, ideas and addatives and in the end I had a car that was really nice to drive and pretty much on pace.

In qualifying I made an addative mistake which slowed me down a lot! But since I had also changed the car the first time I ran that addative, I opted to run it again. And found that it was in fact the addative that killed my pace.

In Q4 it was amazingly close between Dominic Vogl and myself for TQing that round. But in the end it was Dominic who won it on the last lap.

Since I started 5th on the grid, the finals where somewhat of a mixed affair. But in the end I finished 3rd. This was also the 3rd consecutive podium finish for me with Mi5 after just missing out on the podium in Gran Canaria.
