- Schumacher MI5 Evo - Martin Hofer - ETS - Luxembourg - 06-08.06.2014 -

Early this year, I had a track rented near stuttgart. Private testing what was meant to be an upgrade to our Mi5 platform.

Comparing it to a competitors car (orange) as I tested. You got to compare yourself with the best around.

The result was me being really happy with what we have acchieved.

Easier to drive, easier to go fast, more steering and easier to get right.

Or made short: It’s not that hard to be fast anymore.

Ever since then I kept carrying the handmade prototype with me, but was racing Mi5 since it was not to be seen in any case.

As it has been release now, I can tell you that ‘E’ as I like to call it is a huge upgrade!

It gets most obvious in conditions we are not racing in atm. High bite carpet. Trust me on this one: you’ll love it!

But to get you all off to a proper start on tarmac, you’ll find my setup from the recent ETS in Luxembourg at the bottom of this article. First time I have used the car properly.

I have tested this setup on a few of tracks. It’s always been good for stock and modified racing. For mod I would suggest an LTC-R though.

Now it’s time for some pictures and the setup sheet.

Hoping to be able to add articles more regularly …. no promise though ;)

Keep on racing

Martin
