Here some tips/info about new Volante tires. (2018.08.05)

1) Check your rear ride height. Tires are softer, so they compress more and it reduce ride height.
Mine was 3.8mm instead of 4.2mm

2) Now you can heat the tires when weather is hot. I tested with ETS additive, full front/rear for 20-25 minutes.
On old tires, I mean, after 10 runs, with weather still hot, I think it's better to NOT heat... Cause car can become unstable after few laps.

3) I tested Gonzo body and the new Protoform. On big open track, I think Protoform can be better, cause less aggressive on long corner.
Protoform seems more reactive in quick change directions while Gonzo have more overall steering and make car aggressive.
So maybe PF is good for open track, for smaller tracks, I think Gonzo is better.

4) You can use now softer front springs. New rear tires have so more grip, you need to find a lot of steering.
I use Xray 1.5 or Roche soft.

5) for side springs, you can now use softer springs as you don't need so much rear traction. You can use Roche soft or Xray Gold Soft.

6) You can leave rear wing super high, car will be super easy. If traction is high, you can put it 3 holes lower.

7) If you use Aluminium pod link mount, you can remove the spacer. It will give more rotation and more steering. Don't worry, car will still easy to drive.
If you don't have, it's time to buy!

8) Center spring, I tried harder one, to get more steering, but it can make the car difficult on-power. So stay with a soft one.

9) Use middle hole on steering Knuckle (see picture). Big improve with these tires. Again more steering and maybe more easy to drive in long corner.
