Upon popular request, my Hobbywing Technology 6T TC ESC setting from last weekend's Canadian Onroad Nationals!

The rather small and technical track meant that an ultra-smooth power delivery was required for consistent laptimes.

Thanks to the input from my team mates, I was able to quickly find a good setting an FDR for the 6T, which made it possible for me to improve my consistency for the remainder of the event, after switching from my "standard" 5T configuration. Things which I changed from the 5T motor:
  • Longer gearing (30T instead of 28T)
  • A bit higher throttle rate control, as well as a bit higher turbo setting.
The rest of the settings were kept the same.
I recommend using the optional 12.1mm rotor (30820019) for the smoothest power band/best feel for carpet racing on smaller tracks.

As always, I used a Nosram 4200 shorty pack, which provided exceptional consistency, especially when charged to only 4.1V per cell. These packs are just perfect for modified TC racing on carpet!
