Tech info: For anyone using the Hobbywing G4 13.5T motor for a medium to large size asphalt track, in the EFRA 13.5T blinky class, here's some useful info!

Gearing: The sweet spot for me has been in the 3.9-4.1 range. This means, a 100T spur and a 46-48T pinion on the XRAY X4 & T4.

Timing: I set the endbell to 47.5 degrees on the Tunalyzer. In the end, I preferred a bit lower endbell timing but with longer gearing. It gave the best compromise between good top speed and low fade.

I've posted the data from the Tunalyzer for your reference.

As for the ESC setting, you need to fine tune the drag brake to your liking and driving style. I personally prefer a setting between 3-5% depending on the track grip. The drive frequency - 4K gave the best compromise between good bottom end punch and decent top speed.

It's important to use a strong 40mm fan in front of the motor, which you should solder directly to the battery poles on the ESC. Don't mount the fan too close to the motor or it won't be efficient enough! I recommend fans from HUDY!

Batteries - I ended up using the Nosram HV 7400MAH 7.6V LIPO LCG STOCK SPEC GRAPHENE-4 battery! I will explain why I chose this exact battery in a specific battery video which I will publish later this week! Stay tuned!
