- Team CRC Generation X - C Shearburn - Carpet Setup Stock Motor - Update -

Just posting an updated setup for Brushless 17.5 (Stock). I picked up almost 3 tenths a lap over the previous week and the car is definitely closer to what I've been wanting in driving and handling. And yes, this setup TQ'd and won.

Front:

CRC Magenta Fronts with 3/4 width soak
Springs: .45mm
CRC White cap (Heavy) lube on kingpins
Caster: 10° block, 3 shims back, 0 forward (full caster in)
Ride height: 3.5mm
Toe In/Out: 0

Mid:

Spring: Gold (Associated)
Oil: 30Wt
Battery in Rear position
Rear pod level with chassis in race trim

Rear:

CRC Pink Rears with full width soak
Side springs: Red, 2 turns preload
Damper Tubes: CRC White cap (heavy)
Ride height: 4mm
Pod droop: 2mm

3.11 rollout (43/78 with 1.80" tires)
Parma Speed 8 Body

Dual rate was set so that the car did circles half the width of a 6 foot lane. I did not use full lock in the turns, and most turns are 180°'s.

Traction was about low/medium, more on the medium side I would say. A good groove was visible but nothing like a major event or anything. It was just a regular weekly race.
