- BMI Racing DB12R - D Arnold - 25.05.2008 -

Front:
-CRC Front end with long ball top arm setup
-.020" BMI Linear Front Spings (I file the bottom of the CRC kingpin some to fit 36.5mm rims and adjust kingpin length to just clear).
-Angled servo spaced forward for only a little Ackerman
-Steering blocks reversed for shorter wheel base (CRC = reversible)
-10 Degree blocks and max Caster (6 degrees)
-1 Degree negative Camber (decreases if bite gets high)
- 1/2 degree of toe-out, Trinity Red Stuff on the kingpins (or 15k-20k diff lube)

Rear:
-10K diff lube in tubes (15K or 30K if the bite gets super high)
-BMI Carpet brace (goes all of the way across)
-40 weight shock oil, standard IRS shock, 2.63" long for 1mm droop -Blue spring (more turn-in), Red spring used when I need on-power.
-2mm raised shock stud at antenna mount = more on-power steering
-.070" Flex Plates (use .066"-.070" regularly)
-Tubes in forward position (more mid-corner rotation)
-New 2mm Lowered Pod Plates, decreases rear weight transfer and allows smaller tires

Miscellaneous:
- I space up the front of the Flex Plates (.060") to noticeably increase on-power steering
- You can raise the height of the rear flex balls with washers to decrease rear roll (must be done at all 3 points)

-Tires on 36.5mm wheels = Magenta Fronts/Magenta Rears or in high bite I like Gray Fronts/Tan Rears (T.M. Tires, magentas = 35's or Jaco Dbl Pinks, Tans = a slightly harder Gray at 32). Traction is 50% front, 100% rear (high bite 1 minute F, 3 minute R)

-Tire Size for high bite = 1.58" Front/1.68" Rear, lower bite = 1.62"F/1.72"R.
-Cells full forward
-Proto-form Speed 12 body
-Speedzone E-Power 4500's/IB 4600 SHV's
-Tekin RS Pro, Hybrid mode, 0 Drag Brake, 77% Brake Strength, #3 Linear, 70% Timing, gearing is 1.5 teeth up from what I ran on the LRP (1.62" roll out)
-Speed Passion 4.5 (soon to get a Trinity Duo 4.5 or new Orion 4.5 version 2)

*NOTE: We use Paragon over here unless a big race or track requires us to use Jack the Gripper. My additive application stays the same with Jack for high bite. For both Paragon and Jack I increase the set time 2 to 3 time as long for lower bite conditions.
