Ran the car at Chesterfield on Sat night and for me the car was much better, but was running a very different set up.

Front

10 degree reactive
6.25 castor
.020 springs
the top wishbones were lifted as much as possible (not the guys from A)
GRP purple 43mm almost full addative

Centre shock
spring copper
30 wt oil
hole 1 up from bottom

Rear shock
20wt oil

Rear

Side springs gold, half a turn of pe-load
GRP pinks 47.5mm full addative.

Shell

HB Raynard. (painted blue) white ones give understeer

Ran the car with 45 rears and 40.5 fronts early on with no problems.

The car ran fantastic (for me) and it also did not seem to have the problem I have encountered of being difficult to drive when the grip comes up.

This car with this set up requires a different driving style, very smooth with a slightly slower corner entry. Maybe not slower but more critical.

It was very critical on turn in, get it wrong and wwhheyyy out in the boonies, but get it right and the corner speed was amazing. Around the sweeper 180 degrees !! was flat out with a 5.5 the front grip was spot on.

The last race the car was just slightly over rotating on the exit of the corner, not so much as you could not drive it, you just had to be careful putting the power down. Not a bad thing. This my be solved by lowering my front upper wishbones

This was a big step in the right direction for me. I just hope it's Ok with the higher grip at the Nats.
