Race Recap:
Yesterday was the inaugural Ronin RC event, The Sepukku Showdown, held at the incredible World Famous facility that is Fullthrottlercraceway!!!! The grip was awesome and the ARC Team was out in full force.

My day started rough with a broken servo before getting to my 3rd corner. This caused me to miss the entire practice session as I looked for another servo. Luckily my awesome teammate and great friend, Peter Pepe had a new Xpert Pi-3402 for me to borrow (this was the first time I had the opportunity to try an Xpert, all I can say is wow)! After sweet talking the race controller Heather, she let me run about 4 laps right after the driver meeting to at least learn the layout. The car was tight on corner entry and loose on exit. Some quick changes to the droop and shock positions helped in Q1 and Q2. For Q3, I made some spring changes and took a lot of flex out of the front end to get the car to change direction and be more responsive. The car was awesome and I was on pace for a 5th qualifying spot in the A-Main, but small mistakes 4 laps in a row put me in 7th. Then the rains came and we would finish where we qualified. The Team ARC USA R11 was so much fun to drive and work on but the driver was not up to par. The ARC R11 continues to be incredible. It responds to changes very well and can be setup for many different driving styles, and I learn so much about the car every time I drive it!!!

I want to thank Peter Pepe, Heather Carman Pepe, George Martinez, and Steven Pendergraph for an incredible day!!! And definately many thanks to the support from Ronin RC, Team ARC USA, BLITZ Bodyshell, G-Force Hobby USA, Hobby Authority Distribution, and most importantly my wife, Emily Coburn. My final setup sheet is attached. Till next time.....
