- Protoform - Lower rear trim line -

You may have noticed on your new Mazda 6 GX race body that it includes three trim lines on the lower rear corner behind the rear wheel wells. This is a very simple way to do some aero tuning using only your race body and a pair of scissors, and would work of our other any touring car bodies as well.

Start out by using the lowest trimline. By leaving this extra lexan, this setting will maximize your stability on straightaways and in long, sweeping corners. Ideal for high-speed outdoor modified racing.

If you’re racing on a tighter track and require more rotation and change of direction through technical sections, try trimming out on a higher trim line until you find the aero balance that you’re looking for.
