- How to fill an editable setup sheet -

It is always nice to share some finding regarding our toy car' setting but those editable setup sheets can be a struggle to fill sometime. Here are some instructions to make sure you can do so on a correct and efficient manner.

Please note the following apply to the editable setup sheets found on this website, there is no guarantee the same methodology will give the desired result if the document comes from another website.

Tool:

  • You must use a Personal Computer (desktop or laptop) running under Windows and with Adobe Reader installed. Most computers are by default set with this software but if your computer doesn’t have Adobe Reader, you can download it online for free.
  • Using a Mac, a computer running Linux or an I-device (phone, tablet, ...) will not guarantee to obtain the desired result.
How to proceed:

Method 1: this way works with any browser (IE, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Opera,...)
  • Select the desired editable setup sheet and save a copy on your computer using one of the two methods below. This is the key step in the process. Many persons fill the form on the web browser and save it afterward: the result is a blank setup sheet.

  • Once save, open the document with Adobe Reader and fill it.
  • After filling, save the document by doing “Save As…” and give the file a proper name reminding you what this document contains. For example, if you are filling the form with a base setup, simply name it “Base Setup”.
Please note this procedure will keep the document editable: you will be able to modify and save it afterward.

Method 2: This way to proceed only apply when using Chrome.
  • Open the desired editable setup sheet and fill it with your data.
  • Once filled, Chrome offers the option "Print to PDF". The resulting document will be a non editable format.
Once you save the document, you can share it on any media you desired. Please note file size can be an issue and despite all efforts done on all setup sheets you can find on this website, the downsizing might not be enough.
