CTX Charging Profiles

The Much More Cell Master is a revolution in charging technology. The combination of its unique Super Linear Current and precise step-charging capabilities (together known as CTX charging) can truly bring your batteries to their full potential. While some other chargers offer step charging, the Cell Master is the only charger that offers CTX charging.

Along with providing increased power and run-time, CTX charging allows you to more accurately adapt your charging method to various types of racing and ambient conditions. Nexus Racing is proud to offer you the following CTX profiles:

Notes:
MMR battery heatsink recommended for high heat conditions; without heatsink, use lower step 3 charging rate and/or lower delta peak value.

In very high heat conditions, battery may require slight airflow to prevent overheating. The MMR Cooling Fan Stand can provide sufficient airflow when placed 6 inches away from battery.

Step 3
5000mA 4.5A
Flex off
Temp 50
delta peak 06

Charging accessories used according to ambient temperature:

-under 20degC: Warming Tray
-20-25degC: none
-25-30degC: Battery Heatsink
-over 30degC: Battery Heatsink + optional fans

I need more power!
For more power, you can always either:

a) increase the charging rate in the third step,

or

b) increase the delta peak value.

Keep in mind that both of these actions will generate more heat. Be aware of your ambient conditions (temperature, ventilation, etc.), as they are a big factor in determining the temperatures your cells will reach during charge.
